We are Past Grand Royal Matron and Patron of the Grand Court of NSW in 1998/99 and visited the Supreme Assembly in Nashville TN 1999. We are planning to attend the next Supreme Assembly year 2001. We are yet to make our bookings and any suggestions would be appreciated. Both Ron and I take a very active role on the Advancement of the Order Commtittee. We took a leading role along with an H.L. Heather and S.K. Walter Weston in the establishment of Endeavour Court No. 2, now 4 years old, the second court in Melbourne Victoria, which goes to prove that with a positive 'cando' attitude anything is possible. Ron successfully moved a motion at the last session of Grand Court to place advertisemnets in each of the Masonic journals of each of the states of New South Wales, South Australia and Victoria for a period of 12 months. This initative has created a new awareness of our Order, and in the case of our Court - Royal Victoria No 1 we have bebefited by 3 new petitioners over the last month or so. I have enjoyed my membership in this order. We started Pot of Gold Court with people who were involved with Rainbow, both members and advisors. We had representation from 11 different Assemblies and 9 active Mother Advisors in the CHarter membership roster. It is our hope that the young women will someday take this Court and make it their own and will encourage all Massachusetts Rainbow Girls with the proper affiliation to become members. I never knew what the group was. My grandfather was a 32 degree Mason and both belonged to Eastern Star. My parents met at Star when he was patron and announced their engagement ay an Easten Star Halloween party in 1928. My father was also a Mason.
